About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, temporary project-based contract writer and editor to support Business Unit teams with high-quality, compliant content across channels. This role focuses on creating clear, polished content for a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write long-form content including Guides, blog posts, white papers, reports, briefs, webpages, and voice-over scripts
- →Create short-form content including webinar abstracts, emails, social posts, text for graphics, event banners, and paid ads
- →Edit for clarity, consistency, and flow while preserving meaning
- →Proofread and perform final QA on designed assets to ensure copy accuracy
- →Support editorial planning and brainstorming with internal team
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as a freelance/contract writer in a B2B environment
- ✓Experience working closely with Business Unit teams and compliance stakeholders
- ✓Strong editor with excellent attention to detail
- ✓Familiarity with AP Style and a strong advocate for plain-English writing
- ✓Ability to quickly internalize and write to the Smarsh brand voice and style
- ✓Strong research skills and ability to synthesize complex information
