About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Energy Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our Energy Modeling group within the Energy & Sustainability Services Division. This role involves working on high-profile sustainability projects locally, nationally, and internationally, with opportunities to collaborate with major real estate developers, design firms, and construction companies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Examine field conditions and design documents for energy modeling
- →Perform advanced energy modeling analysis using DOE 2.2 or Energy Plus
- →Model building HVAC systems including chilled water, hot water, DX, rooftop units, and variable air volume systems
- →Assemble documentation on modeling methods, assumptions, and results
- →Execute energy auditing, benchmarking, data gathering, and measurement & verification
- →Perform energy savings and lifecycle cost analyses
- →Develop and write detailed reports on building components and energy efficiency measures
- →Perform quality checks and quality assurance for team tasks
- →Provide feedback to project teams on improving building energy performance
Requirements
- ✓3-5 years of experience in energy modeling
- ✓Proficiency in DOE 2.2 or Energy Plus
- ✓Strong understanding of ASHRAE Standards
- ✓Experience with HVAC systems and building energy management systems
- ✓Ability to perform energy auditing, benchmarking, and data gathering
- ✓Excellent report writing and documentation skills
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Team player with excellent communication skills
