About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join SOCOTEC's team. This role involves supporting digital workplace projects and providing IT infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities
- →Responsible for the rollout and implementation of the digital workplace project
- →Support the central IT infrastructure team in designing, implementing, and upgrading office infrastructures
- →Coordinate with the central IT team for testing, validating, and rolling out new solutions, updates, and features
- →Install and configure new PCs and mobile devices according to central IT team procedures
- →Handle IT onboarding for new employees in the SOCOTEC digital work environment
- →Provide first-line IT support for user queries and incidents
- →Support users in using and configuring standard software like Microsoft 365, PDF software, and Windows tools
- →Assist local management in testing and evaluating new software solutions
- →Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware issues and maintain contact with local suppliers
- →Manage hardware inventory (PCs, tablets, and smartphones)
- →Maintain and update the local IT asset inventory
- →Monitor SLAs for user requests and incident tickets
- →Report to the Central IT Support Manager
Requirements
- ✓Experience in IT infrastructure and support
- ✓Proficiency with Microsoft 365, PDF software, and Windows tools
- ✓Knowledge of account management, data migration, and software/hardware installations
- ✓Ability to coordinate with central IT teams and local management
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills for hardware issues
- ✓Experience with IT asset management and inventory systems
