About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Producer to support the Local Producer in curating, producing, and promoting concerts and live events that strengthen Sofar's community in your city. This role involves helping with curation, logistics, local marketing, partnerships, and on-the-ground execution while being supported by your city's Local Producer and the central Global Communities team.

Key Responsibilities

→Strengthen Sofar's brand locally by promoting and selling tickets through self-directed marketing tactics
→Take ownership of events from concept development to execution, including selecting neighborhoods and themes
→Lead curation and booking of high-quality, diverse artists and venues while growing local networks
→Ensure strong event execution, hospitality, and consistency with Sofar standards
→Track financial performance of events to ensure sustainable, profitable growth
→Build and nurture relationships with local businesses and partners for sponsorships and collaborations
→Identify and cultivate relationships with aligned organizations and community groups
→Collaborate with the Lead Producer and team to bring diverse, exciting experiences to the city
→Support inbound partnership opportunities with seamless operations and high-quality curation
→Maintain clear communication and alignment with your Lead Producer

Requirements

✓1-3 years of experience in live event curation, production, promotions, or experiential work
✓Deep connections to your local creative scene and active role in building community
✓Comfort with assisting or independently handling sponsorship outreach or marketing activations
✓Confidence in pitching ideas, event concepts, and partnership opportunities
✓Strong pulse on your city's neighborhoods, cultural pockets, and creative communities
✓Natural connector skilled at building relationships with community-driven organizations and partners
✓Understanding of event promotion and strategies to sell tickets and broaden reach
✓Professionalism, hospitality, and ownership in all interactions
✓Exceptional time management and organizational skills across multiple projects
✓Ability to work autonomously while valuing alignment and collaboration
