About the Role

We are looking for a Business Lead to manage a new Commercial Payment Services (CPS) service line for SoFi Bank. This role involves refining business plans, driving the launch process, and overseeing day-to-day operations with accountability for financial performance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

→Refine the existing business plan and work plan for building out service capabilities
→Drive the "build" process to pilot and general launch stages, working with engineering, operations, compliance, and risk teams
→Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations with accountability for financial performance
→Play a direct role in client sales and contracting with legal and finance teams
→Lead strategic thinking for the evolution of the service line
→Ensure alignment with the Bank’s broader strategic goals

Requirements

✓Deep subject matter expertise in payments, including business models and operations
✓At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in payments
✓Demonstrated success overseeing a payments-related line of business
✓Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
✓Entrepreneurial instincts
✓Commitment to operating within regulatory and risk parameters
✓Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
