About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Payments team in the Servicing Platform within SoFi’s Lending Platform organization. This role involves shaping the future of how SoFi processes payments at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- →Define team objectives, set performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations
- →Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance technical capabilities
- →Foster a culture of innovation, professional growth, and continuous improvement
- →Oversee the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- →Manage project priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure efficient project execution
- →Track and report project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- →Provide technical leadership and guidance to software development teams
- →Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment

Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- ✓Strong technical background and expertise in software development
- ✓Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or Technical leadership role
- ✓Demonstrated experience in managing and leading software development teams
- ✓Excellent leadership and team management skills
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
