About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team at Solace, a rapidly scaling startup focused on patient advocacy in healthcare. In this role, you will build predictive models and forecasting systems to optimize operations and anticipate patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build predictive models to solve critical business problems like patient churn prediction and operational volume estimation
- →Develop time-series forecasts for capacity planning and resource allocation
- →Design and analyze A/B tests and causal inference studies
- →Apply advanced statistical methods to uncover deep insights from complex datasets
- →Work with Data Engineers to productionize solutions in our data infrastructure
- →Translate complex statistical findings into clear narratives for stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓Strong background in statistics, probability, and mathematics
- ✓Proficiency in Python and data science ecosystem (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
- ✓Experience with time-series analysis and forecasting techniques
- ✓Advanced SQL skills for data wrangling
- ✓Preferred Master's degree or PhD in Data Science or related field
- ✓Understanding of data privacy practices for handling PHI and PII
- ✓Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment
