Tax Operations Manager at Sonar

About the Role

We are looking for a Tax Operations Manager to manage all aspects of the company's US tax compliance and global tax accounting and reporting. This role focuses on ensuring accuracy, scalability, and risk management across direct and indirect tax functions as the company continues to grow internationally. The position will establish strong processes, leverage technology, and partner cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• →Oversee and manage preparation and timely filing of all U.S. federal and state income tax returns
• →Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740 and local statutory accounting standards
• →Manage US indirect tax compliance and accounting and support non-US indirect tax compliance
• →Partner with FP&A and Treasury on cash tax forecasting and effective tax rate modeling
• →Maintain robust documentation to support tax positions and inter-company transactions
• →Support M&A and integration activities as needed
• →Design and implement scalable global tax processes and internal controls
• →Evaluate, implement and optimize technology tools to automate tax processes
• →Lead continuous process improvement and automation initiatives
