About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our regional development team at Sopra Steria. This role involves strengthening data teams responsible for building and industrializing the Snowflake platform, MDM flows, and governance devices. You will work on the entire data value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and develop data pipelines: -Conceive and maintain high-performance data pipelines (ETL/ELT). -Develop batch and streaming ingestion processes for Snowflake. -Implement transformations and operational models (Data Vault, dimensional). -Manage MDM flows around Semarchy (integration, processing, quality).
- →Industrialization & quality: -Implement CI/CD data (Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI). -Develop automated tests, monitoring, and observability of pipelines. -Optimize performance, Snowflake costs, and operational reliability.
- →Governance & security: -Participate in Data Governance projects (catalogs, quality, lineage). -Apply security standards: IAM, RBAC Snowflake, access and secret management.
- →Collaboration & support: -Work closely with Data Architects, Data Stewards, supply/logistics business teams. -Support CMA CGM / CEVA teams in adopting new pipelines.
Requirements
Expertise in Snowflake: ingestion, Snowpipe, optimization, zone architecture. • Advanced Python skills. • SQL expertise. • Orchestration: Airflow or equivalent. • Data Modeling: Data Vault / dimensional model. • CI/CD: Git, automation pipelines.
