About the Role
We are looking for a Java Developer to join Sopra Steria's JTech practice. This role involves working on end-to-end technology and software solutions for large organizations and (semi-)government entities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Upgrade a legacy Java application from version 8 to the latest LTS version
- →Migrate the entire OTAP environment from RHEL servers to Azure (AKS)
- →Evaluate the use of OpenShift
- →Convert Jenkins CI/CD pipeline to Azure Pipelines
- →Define steps to run the application in a Kubernetes cluster using Helm, Dockerfile, Podman, and Maven dependencies
- →Select a new framework such as Spring or Quarkus
- →Improve existing unit and integration tests
- →Contribute ideas to the team for progress
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with Java development
- ✓Knowledge of RHEL and Azure environments
- ✓Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Familiarity with frameworks like Spring and Quarkus
- ✓Understanding of unit and integration testing
- ✓Ability to contribute ideas and collaborate with the team
