About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and mission-driven Software Project Manager to lead digital initiatives within public administrations. This role involves overseeing IT projects that support public service modernization while ensuring compliance with government standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects within a public sector context
- →Define and manage project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- →Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- →Manage cross-functional teams including architects, developers, analysts, and external vendors
- →Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives
- →Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- →Perform Earned Value Analysis
- →Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
- →Ensure quality assurance and compliance with IT standards and policies
- →Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management
- →Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
- →Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned
- →Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and service providers
- →Ensure projects comply with public procurement regulations and data protection laws
- →Develop project documentation including business cases, risk assessments, and progress reports
- →Promote transparency, accountability, and citizen-centric service design
Requirements
- ✓Experience managing IT projects in a public sector or government environment
- ✓Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- ✓Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- ✓Knowledge of government standards, procurement regulations, and data protection laws
- ✓Ability to develop comprehensive project plans and manage budgets effectively
