About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our Norwegian clients.
Key Responsibilities
- โDesign and plan SQL Server deployments for scalability and reliability
- โDeploy/design native SQL solutions for cloud environments
- โMaintain and update SQL Server instances, including feature updates and security patches
- โPlan and execute upgrade and migration strategies with minimal downtime
- โCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including application operations, networking, virtualization, and security, to deliver integrated solutions
- โTroubleshoot technical issues in SQL Server environments
- โAssist customers with performance optimization and tuning
- โProvide technical support to customers and end-users on database-related issues
Requirements
- โExperience with SQL Server, MySQL, Maria DB, and Postgres
- โKnowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- โFamiliarity with VMware
- โAbility to work in Poland and commute to Katowice office
