About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team based in Exeter. This full-time 12-month fixed-term contract role focuses on commercial recovery activity, analyzing trends, and providing insightful data analysis to support the recovery of outstanding payments. You will report on recovery processes, identify potential issues through data analysis, and help implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain comprehensive commercial debt recovery reporting
- →Provide data analysis and insight to support recovery of outstanding customer payments
- →Support management in monitoring collections performance throughout the month
- →Proactively monitor collection strategies through reporting and account-level analysis
- →Support production of daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting
- →Identify trends in productivity and operational performance to drive improvement
- →Support development and maintenance of collections performance scorecards
- →Use data analysis to proactively identify opportunities to improve process efficiency
- →Deliver regular performance overview updates to key stakeholders
- →Provide overall support to the Data Team on data-related queries
- →Document processes and map collection strategies
- →Assist with project for new billing system
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in data analysis, including use of SQL and Power BI
- ✓Capability in managing billing and financial-related data accurately
- ✓Strong analytical skills with ability to identify anomalies, trends, and risks within data
- ✓Experience of leading actions within teams and supporting delivery of agreed outcomes
- ✓Excellent attention to detail with ability to identify and correct errors
- ✓Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to present insights clearly
- ✓Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and support delivery of effective solutions
- ✓Confidence to constructively challenge existing thinking and processes
- ✓Flexible approach to work with willingness to take on new challenges
- ✓Proactive and analytical individual with strong technical capability
