About the Role
We are looking for a Legal and Compliance Analyst to join our Spaceport team at SpaceX. This role involves managing regulatory compliance procedures and supporting legal matters to enable human life on Mars.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and execute processes to manage regulatory compliance procedures
- →Lead and support investigations into legal matters
- →Coordinate with internal teams for drafting communications with partner organizations
- →Draft, maintain, and manage legal documents including corporate documents, regulatory filings, and permits
- →Coordinate and track signatures and submissions on legal documents and regulatory filings
- →Advise and train internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters
- →Negotiate and track Non-Disclosure Agreements
- →Produce templates and documents for corporate policies
- →Provide general support to legal functions
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- ✓5+ years of experience in legal, compliance, regulatory, or similar analytical role
- ✓Experience in document collection and electronic discovery
- ✓Ability to prioritize competing demands in a high-volume environment
- ✓Excellent judgment, discretion, and organizational skills
- ✓Experience with FAA regulatory law, land development law, and/or maritime law
- ✓Experience assisting in-house and/or outside attorneys in document preparation
- ✓Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain
- ✓Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible as per ITAR requirements
Additional Requirements
- ✓Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- ✓Must be willing to travel periodically
