About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Sportradar's engineering team working on the Argos platform, our cloud-native infrastructure for computer vision processing. As a Senior Software Engineer within Sportradar's AI unit, you will work with an experienced team building innovative infrastructure solutions for computer vision, machine learning, and data analytics workloads.

Key Responsibilities

→Research, design, develop, deploy, and operate solutions for real-time, low latency computer vision processing in AWS cloud
→Collaborate with computer vision researchers on integration and productization of computer vision models
→Contribute to the evolution of our technology stack and technical architectures
→Mentor engineers and lead code/design reviews
→Optimize system reliability and performance

Requirements

✓Advanced knowledge of programming
✓Strong expertise in Python with hands-on experience developing production grade solutions
✓Deep experience with containers and container orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes)
✓Strong understanding of system observability and reliability
✓Comfort with modern software development methodologies (agile, git, CI/CD, code review)
✓Comfort with AI coding tools and agentic technologies
✓Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
✓Minimum 5 years of software development experience
✓Demonstrable experience with developing and running production-grade software solutions
✓Autonomous, rigorous, creative, and a team player
✓Fluent in English (written and spoken)
