About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Subscriptions mission team at Spotify. You'll help build and operate systems that power paid media measurement, attribution, and audience targeting, working on production systems that process marketing data at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and operate data pipelines for paid media attribution, audience targeting, and campaign measurement
- →Develop batch and real-time data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform processing billions of marketing and user events
- →Partner with marketing, analytics, and product teams to instrument data collection and ensure data quality
- →Contribute to integrations with external marketing platforms
- →Monitor and improve production systems for reliability and observability
- →Work within cross-functional teams to build end-to-end data systems
Requirements
- ✓Solid experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- ✓Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably GCP
- ✓Fluency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
- ✓Experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- ✓Understanding of batch and streaming data processing, ETL/ELT patterns
- ✓Strong focus on data quality and system reliability
- ✓Experience with marketing technology ecosystems is a plus
