About the Role
We are looking for a versatile full-stack engineer to join our Advertising Product & Technology team at Spotify. You will help build a next-generation advertising platform for audio and video, scaling the user experience for millions of listeners and advertisers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, and ship features using Java, TypeScript, and other technologies for the Spotify Ads Manager
- →Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to build and scale our services
- →Collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality, high-impact customer-facing products
- →Perform code reviews, create documentation, and fix complex bugs across services
- →Improve operational excellence and share knowledge to promote best practices
- →Work in an environment that supports individual growth
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of hands-on experience in Java and TypeScript for end-to-end feature implementation
- ✓Strong understanding of web and API development principles, with experience in REST, gRPC, and GraphQL
- ✓Experience with observability, robust systems, testing automation, and monitoring tools
- ✓End-to-end ownership of solutions, from scoping to deployment
- ✓Experience with experimentation platforms, A/B testing, and SQL (nice to have)
- ✓Experience working with stakeholders and Product leadership
- ✓Comfortable working in an agile environment and challenging ways of working
