About the Role
We are looking for an HR Lead to join our Global HR team, based in Singapore and overseeing markets in JAPAC. This strategic and hands-on role partners with business leaders to shape people strategy locally while ensuring a high-quality, consistent employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. You will help navigate growth, organizational change, workforce planning, and people development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with business leaders and HRBP to build a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture
- →Translate business priorities into people activities for attraction, development, engagement, and retention
- →Mentor and influence managers to build leadership capability and drive performance
- →Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend pragmatic solutions
- →Act as a change leader, supporting teams through organization changes and transformation efforts
- →Partner with global teams to localize and implement initiatives for manager capability and skill development
- →Drive the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- →Support annual HR processes including talent reviews, performance calibrations, and compensation cycles
- →Provide hands-on support for employee relations and policy matters
- →Ensure local compliance with labor law requirements while balancing global standards
- →Review and suggest improvements to local processes for scalability and efficiency
- →Handle local documents and government paperwork for the region
Requirements
- ✓At least 7 years of dynamic HR experience in regional roles such as HR Lead, HR Manager, or HRBP
- ✓Experience working in global or matrixed organizations; exposure to media or technology environments preferred
- ✓Experience partnering with senior leaders and supporting leadership team initiatives
- ✓Hands-on knowledge of employment practices and labor regulations in key JAPAC markets
- ✓Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity while keeping teams aligned and supported
- ✓Cultural agility and experience working across multiple JAPAC markets
- ✓Ability to build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and approach challenges proactively
- ✓Understanding of how to balance global frameworks with local needs and influence partners
- ✓Ability to balance critical thinking with operational execution
- ✓Strong prioritization skills, flexibility in fast-moving environments, and resourcefulness
- ✓Collaborative, inclusive, and open to diverse perspectives
- ✓Ability to travel as required
