About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Leader to join SpotOn, a company that empowers independent restaurants with innovative technology solutions. This role involves leading a team to build innovative products and overseeing Marketing, Guest Data, Labor, and Shared Value teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define the product strategy for product areas and influence SpotOn’s overall product strategy
- →Manage a team of Product Managers in investigating market opportunities and building product roadmaps
- →Approach product vision and design creatively, focusing on authoring the future of the restaurant industry
- →Work with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize requests for new functionality
- →Assess market competition, client preferences, and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage
- →Test and leverage insights to inform decisions
- →Build relationships with key business partners and stakeholders to serve as an internal and external evangelist
- →Collaborate with stakeholders on creating positioning for products
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of relevant product management experience, with at least 3 years managing a team of Product Managers
- ✓Experience in metrics-driven work environments that use data to make informed decisions
- ✓Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience in designing and delivering quality products
- ✓Ability to manage multiple projects in an iterative process
- ✓Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences
- ✓Demonstrated instances of understanding customer needs and interactions with products
- ✓Experience making decisions with imperfect information and managing teams through ambiguity
- ✓Past restaurant experience is a plus
