About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain our CI/CD platform. This role involves designing, operating, and optimizing a GitLab-based CI/CD platform while managing various DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, operate and optimize a GitLab Ultimate-based CI/CD platform in SaaS
- →Manage and maintain a suite of DevOps tools including GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWX, ArgoCD, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, SonarQube CE & EE, Confluence, and Jira
- →Ensure deployment and operation on GCP, particularly via GKE
- →Monitor the platform using internal observability tools like Dynatrace, ELK, and PagerDuty
- →Provide technical support, including participation in 24/7 on-call duties
- →Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the platform
- →Maintain clear, accessible, and regularly updated documentation
- →Contribute to defining the strategy for evolving tools and software engineering methodologies
- →Work closely with product teams to optimize their CI/CD experience
- →Promote and implement DevOps best practices at scale
- →Encourage team autonomy through self-service services (internal portal based on Backstage.io)
- →Contribute to technical governance decisions
Requirements
- ✓Experience with GitLab CI and GitLab Ultimate
- ✓Knowledge of Jenkins, AWX, ArgoCD, Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, SonarQube, Confluence, and Jira
- ✓Familiarity with GCP and GKE
- ✓Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, ELK, and PagerDuty
- ✓Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
- ✓Ability to provide technical support and participate in on-call duties
- ✓Excellent documentation skills
- ✓Experience with Backstage.io or similar internal portals
