About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join Stripe's Local Payment Methods team. This role involves owning relationships with major payment providers and driving significant payment volume growth. You will work on strategic payment methods and collaborate with various teams to develop and execute a compelling roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop the long-term vision and strategy for your pillar within the Local Payment Methods team
- →Understand Stripe users' needs by working with partnership managers, risk, legal, compliance, data science, engineering, products, and go-to-market teams
- →Drive adoption of strategic payment methods across Stripe's merchant base
- →Partner with Risk teams to ensure sustainable growth
- →Collaborate with product marketing and go-to-market teams to create compelling narratives
- →Build deep user empathy with Stripe's merchants and financial partners
- →Work with product and engineering organizations to define valuable investments
- →Develop joint product roadmaps with payment partners
- →Become a subject-matter expert for strategic payment partners
Requirements
- ✓5+ years in product management or product-adjacent role
- ✓Experience partnering with engineers, designers, and external partners
- ✓Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- ✓Strong analytical capabilities with experience in defining and tracking success metrics
- ✓Experience working on products requiring alignment of multiple stakeholders
- ✓Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- ✓Background delivering on multi-quarter roadmaps
- ✓Strong business acumen and comfort with complex ecosystem problems
