About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join the Internal Systems team at Stripe. This role involves driving programs that span across the Stripe ecosystem, focusing on building successful platforms and systems in GTM and Finance domains.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with teams across the organization to understand pain points and create solutions spanning multiple domains.
- →Define and produce high-quality written proposals, communications, and documentation.
- →Execute technical programs requiring deep systems and engineering knowledge.
- →Partner with various stakeholders to define, scope, and drive large programs to conclusion.
- →Shape technical design, predict roadblocks, and identify trade-offs in partnership with engineering.
- →Develop and implement program management techniques, frameworks, and KPIs.
- →Elevate the execution muscle of engineering teams.
- →Influence peers and stakeholders to build consensus.
- →Leverage data to drive strategic decisions.
- →Create plans to drive consistency, clarity, and alignment across teams.
- →Operationalize and execute critical cross-functional programs.
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, and/or technical program management experience.
- ✓Understanding of distributed systems and Service Oriented Architecture.
- ✓Excellent analytical skills with a track record of providing program management during all phases of software development.
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ✓Experience driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
- ✓Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions.
