About the Role
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to act as a strategic partner to a C-level executive at SumUp. This role involves translating strategy into execution across the organization, managing global initiatives, and optimizing team effectiveness. The Chief of Staff will collaborate closely with C-level stakeholders and handle critical and confidential details.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate cross-functionally to drive strategic projects and ensure teams meet targets
- →Plan and facilitate meetings, including board meetings, OKR meetings, and annual off-sites
- →Improve team collaboration and work processes
- →Work on budget and financial planning with FP&A
- →Coordinate resources for special initiatives and projects
- →Organize key team events to reinforce culture and alignment with strategy
- →Serve as an effective storyteller through internal and external communications
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience in high-growth technology start-ups, with a focus on product management, strategy, or engineering
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills with intellectual and analytical rigor
- ✓Highly empathetic with superb stakeholder management skills
- ✓Ability to grasp and add value to the executive vision
- ✓Excellent multimodal communication skills
- ✓Strong business acumen and passion for products
- ✓Previous cross-functional project management experience
