About the Role
We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security team in Helsinki HQ. This role focuses on embedding security best practices across the software development lifecycle and improving our cloud infrastructure security.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with product development to embed security best practices
- →Improve security of cloud infrastructure by implementing new security controls
- →Design, implement, and maintain security controls across our SaaS platform
- →Automate vulnerability and threat detection using SAST, SCA, IAC, and container image analysis
- →Ensure robust audit logging via SIEM
- →Implement and manage IAM policies
- →Conduct internal reviews, threat modeling, and testing of new product features
- →Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the SDLC
- →Improve existing security tooling in CI/CD and add new tools
- →Implement automated threat detection and policy-as-code solutions
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of full-time experience in information security
- ✓5+ years of total full-time work experience in software development
- ✓Expertise in securing cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- ✓Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and securing Kubernetes clusters
- ✓Software development experience with proficiency in at least one programming language
- ✓Understanding of secure coding practices and experience reviewing source code
- ✓Experience with modern CI/CD systems and implementing automated security scanning tools
- ✓Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as OWASP ASVS, OWASP SAMM, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks
- ✓Keen interest in promoting security in product development
