About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team at Offchain Labs. This hands-on role involves building and scaling automated testing frameworks for our blockchain scaling solution, Arbitrum. You will implement our QA strategy, develop automation and testing infrastructure, and help expand our QA team.
Key Responsibilities
- →Refine and implement the QA strategy for our Full Stack Engineering team
- →Establish test automation frameworks that validate correctness, security, and performance across the entire stack
- →Integrate QA into the CI/CD pipeline for rigorous pre-deployment validation
- →Develop advanced verification techniques for smart contract security
- →Execute load and stress testing to measure scalability
- →Work cross-functionally to embed quality in the development process
- →Partner with software engineers, smart contract developers, and DevOps to establish a culture of quality
- →Collaborate with researchers and external auditors to automate vulnerability detection
- →Ensure that SDKs, APIs, and documentation are well-tested and reliable
Requirements
- ✓3+ years in QA engineering, test automation, or software quality roles
- ✓Strong programming skills in TypeScript
- ✓Proficiency in Playwright and/or Cypress
- ✓Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- ✓Experience deploying to and administering cloud infrastructure
- ✓Ability to lead teams and collaborate with various roles
- ✓Experience building QA processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Passion for open-source, decentralization, and blockchain technology
- ✓Experience with blockchain-based Web3 products and crypto wallets
