We are looking for a Compensation Intern to join our Human Resources team for our 10-week summer internship program. This role reports to the Compensation Manager and provides hands-on experience supporting compensation programs that drive consistent, competitive, and equitable pay decisions across the organization. This internship offers direct exposure to how compensation programs are designed, benchmarked, and implemented across office, fulfillment center, and international teams. Interns contribute to real work that supports business decisions and employee trust. It offers meaningful experience in compensation practices that support growth, transparency, and retention.
This remote position is open to individuals who live in, or are open to relocating to, the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
This opportunity requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY for an internship on-site meeting on July 14th and July 15th. We reimburse reasonable and necessary travel expenses, and youβre also welcome to work on-site anytime beyond this visit β our doors are always open.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
What You'll Do:
β’ Support maintenance of pay bands, salary ranges, and job leveling documentation
β’ Collect and organize compensation market data for benchmarking across roles and locations
β’ Analyze compensation data in Excel to validate alignment to ranges and identify trends
β’ Assist with the execution of the annual compensation refresh, including intake review and reporting
β’ Support compensation initiatives related to fulfillment center and international teams
β’ Document compensation processes, templates, and workflows to improve consistency and scalability
Minimum Qualifications (Required for Consideration)
β’ Currently pursuing a Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
β’ Demonstrated experience working with data in Excel, including:
β’ Pivot tables
β’ VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP
β’ Basic data cleaning and organization
β’ Strong attention to detail with examples of working on projects requiring high accuracy
β’ Ability to clearly explain data or findings, either in writing or verbally
Preferred Qualifications (Strong Differentiators)
β’ Coursework or projects in compensation, HR analytics, finance, or data analysis
β’ Experience working with large datasets, reporting, or data validation
β’ Familiarity with HR systems, surveys, or benchmarking tools
β’ Experience balancing multiple tasks or deadlines in a structured environment
