About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join HeyPolo, a company building a smart, privacy-first location-sharing app. This role focuses on creating meaningful data insights and dashboards that shape real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create intuitive, actionable dashboards and visualizations for daily operational use and strategic decision-making
- →Partner with leaders in product, marketing, and operations to understand business context and translate questions into analytical frameworks
- →Provide consultative insight to stakeholders and influence decision-making through clear communication of results
- →Define and prioritize the analytics backlog — anticipate business needs rather than waiting for tickets
- →Build and maintain analytical models in dbt to support reporting and analysis
- →Advocate for best practices in data hygiene, measurement, and analytics deliverables
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a track record of independent execution and impact
- ✓Strong SQL skills with the ability to write performant queries and build dbt models
- ✓Demonstrated ability to create meaningful dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- ✓Comfortable translating vague, open-ended business problems into structured analytical tasks
- ✓Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving instincts and a proactive work style
- ✓Experience working across multiple domains (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to influence cross-functional outcomes
