About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the HeyPolo team and build a testing strategy for our newly launched privacy-first smart location-sharing app.
Key Responsibilities
- →Be the first QA on the team and build a testing strategy for a freshly launched product
- →Build and lead a QA team, shaping the mindset for high-quality delivery
- →Take ownership of launching and executing tests without detailed test cases
- →Continuously perform functional testing across iOS, Android, and Web applications
- →Transform regression testing into automated test scenarios
- →Proactively share your experience and best practices with the team
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in leading QA efforts — setting goals and celebrating even small wins
- ✓Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing
- ✓Familiarity with iOS & Android app testing, REST APIs, and SQL databases
- ✓Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- ✓Proactivity, creativity, sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail, and self-discipline
- ✓Curiosity for breaking things
