About the Role
We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team. This role involves handling inbound and outbound calls to resolve delinquency and provide loss mitigation alternatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Answer inbound collection calls and make outbound calls to borrowers
- →Process phone payments and handle statement inquiries
- →Manage account extensions and due date changes
- →Handle bankruptcy and foreclosure cases
- →Review account credit history and handle complaints
- →Negotiate account cure and liquidation options
- →Process payoffs, escrow, and document requests
- →Respond to customer inquiries regarding mortgage loans
- →Utilize Servicer-provided scripts to provide solutions
- →Follow up with customers on escalated issues
- →Escalate matters to appropriate team members
- →Follow procedures to manage calls from mortgage servicing customers
