About the Role

We are looking for a Technology Lead to scale engineering and data science functions as we enter our next phase of growth. This player-coach role involves architecting and building AI-powered engagement systems while developing a high-performing team of backend engineers, data scientists, and AI engineers. You will be a central thought partner to leadership, translating complex ML systems into accessible, scalable solutions that drive member engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and build autonomous systems that trigger coordinated Email, SMS, and Voice outreach at scale
→Build backend systems that power AI concierge agents to engage and guide members through their care journey
→Oversee data ingestion and tagging pipelines that process healthcare claims data for ML models
→Improve ML models using latest technologies to increase targeting and outreach relevance
→Lead development of agentic AI systems including outbound AI voice agents and multi-channel agents
→Build tools and dashboards to monitor, evaluate, and improve agent performance
→Implement metrics for AI agent success and identify failure modes
→Evaluate foundation models and understand tradeoffs for specific use cases
→Manage LLM token budgets, latency, and performance through smart routing and caching

Requirements

✓5+ years developing and deploying machine learning algorithms in production environments
✓End-to-end experience building AI agents including prompt engineering and agentic workflows
✓Strong backend architecture skills with ability to design scalable systems
✓2+ years managing diverse technical teams with track record of developing engineers
✓Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments balancing speed and quality
✓Comfortable being in the code while setting technical direction and strategy
✓Proven ability to work with business leaders, product teams, and growth teams
