About the Role:
As a Growth Marketing Specialist at Taara, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform Taaraβs global marketing and communications strategy and drive global adoption of Taaraβs technology in a way that elevates our brand, builds community, and supports the business growth with our partners. You will work closely with cross-functional team members across sales, product, engineering, business development, and operations to optimize the end to end customer journey from lead generation to conversion and growth. This role is ideal for a data-driven strategist who wants to build the analytics foundation of Taaraβs marketing tech stack.
This role will be based in Sunnyvale, California.
How you will make 10X impact:
- Pipeline & Funnel Analytics: Track and analyze the end-to-end customer journey, from awareness and cross-channel engagement to conversion and growth or churn.
- Growth Marketing: Help maximize lead acquisition, engagement, and retention in partnership with cross-functional teams to optimize hand-offs to and from Marketing and other teams using tools and automated workflows.
- Insights & Reporting: Build dashboards that unify web traffic, CRM data (Salesforce and HubSpot), and data across marketing tech stack to ensure alignment with revenue and other company growth goals.
- Marketing Effectiveness: Assess the ROI of marketing campaigns, activations, and digital outreach. Help guide budget allocation based on attribution and lead quality.
- Field Marketing & Event ROI: Help develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, and partner channels to build pipeline, generate qualified leads, and support sales targets, primarily focusing on B2B customer acquisition (ISPs, telcos, resellers). Quantify the impact of activations at local, regional, and global trade shows. Travel as necessary to set up exhibit and physical presence at tradeshows.
- Data Culture: Champion data transparency, accuracy, and accessibility across Taara. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine our marketing data infrastructure to ensure we have a "single source of truth" for growth.
What you should have:
- 2β4+ years as a marketing data analyst, ideally in a B2B hardware, telecommunications, or deep-tech environment.
- CRM & Automation: Experience with cross-channel measurement and building automated workflows in Salesforce, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
- Testing & Optimization: Hands-on experience with A/B testing web landing pages, social media posts, and email outreach to improve response, engagement, and lead discovery and nurturing.
- Business Intelligence & Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or equivalent platform to create executive-level reporting and inform cross-functional collaboration
- Strong Analytical & Modeling Skills: A rigorous approach to data integrity, especially during platform migrations. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and experience using metrics to inform decisions and measure success.
- Exceptional Communication & Presentation: Proven ability to translate raw data into actionable insights and narrative for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
It would be great if you also had these:
- Global Context: Familiarity with tracking performance across diverse international markets and varying regional lead sources.
- Advanced Excel, SQL, R or Python: Ability to manipulate large datasets and build complex models.
- Insight Translation: Comfortable presenting findings to executive leadership with exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Partner Marketing: Orchestrate the end-to-end production of high-impact customer success narratives, from vetting strategic candidates to managing multi-channel distribution; synthesize complex technical and business use cases in a foundational storytelling engine to standardize future partner growth efforts.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment, ideally post-spin-out or funding round.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $165,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
