About the Role
Tailscale is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role involves transforming product positioning and messaging into effective content for a technical audience, working closely with sales and product marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and refine product positioning and messaging, then synthesize it into effective content for a technical audience.
- →Collaborate with sales, product marketing, growth marketing, web development, and design teams to identify, develop, and produce effective content.
- →Become an expert on users and customers, understanding their pain points and needs.
- →Create purposeful content that drives sales, including landing pages, case studies, white papers, and blog posts.
- →Position Tailscale as a thought leader in networking and security through impactful content.
Requirements
- ✓Strong writing background with fluency in the tech industry and technical subjects like networking and Kubernetes.
- ✓Experience with B2B or enterprise technology companies.
- ✓Experience with networking or security products used in SaaS or cloud environments.
- ✓Proven track record of collaborating with marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, or product management.
- ✓Impeccable writing and editing skills with experience in feedback cycles.
- ✓Ability to adhere to content strategy, product messaging, and product positioning.
- ✓Comfortable working on multiple work streams simultaneously.
- ✓Experience with on-page SEO and AEO optimization.
- ✓Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
