About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our core engineering team at Tavily and help build the infrastructure that powers real-time AI agents. This role involves working across the stack and taking ownership of critical systems as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Be the expert in building fast, reliable, and scalable systems for real-time LLM workflows
- →Design and implement backend infrastructure and API endpoints
- →Collaborate closely with product to iterate on features quickly and thoughtfully
- →Improve performance, monitoring, and reliability across the stack

Requirements
- ✓2–5 years of professional front-end engineering experience
- ✓Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React
- ✓Experience building and maintaining applications in Next.js
- ✓Deep understanding of component-driven architecture and scalable UI systems
- ✓Strong product intuition and attention to detail
- ✓Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership
- ✓Based in NYC or open to relocating
