About the Role
We are looking for a Content Editor to join TechnologyAdvice, a trusted source of information for B2B tech buyers. This role will act as an editorial quality owner, publishing content across our digital media properties and ensuring all content meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform all levels of editing including developmental, fact-checking, and copy editing
- →Provide written edits and feedback to writers and subject matter experts
- →Write new articles, newsletters, and other content as needed
- →Ensure published content aligns with site’s audience and mission
- →Evaluate story quality to identify areas for improvement
- →Pitch article ideas and content updates
- →Contribute to content planning and execution
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams on content initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred
- ✓Proven experience editing digital content
- ✓Experience writing articles or digital content for online audiences
- ✓Familiarity with content planning and digital publishing standards
- ✓Experience collaborating with writers and cross-functional teams
- ✓Excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times
- ✓Must have a working laptop/PC with internet and backup connection
