ABOUT THE TEAM TechTorch data and solution architecture teams lead complex enterprise transformations across cloud data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. We work closely with delivery teams, engineers, and client stakeholders to design scalable, governed, and future-ready data platforms — often in high-impact, regulated, and transformation-heavy environments. Our teams operate globally and collaborate across cloud infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML workstreams to deliver end-to-end outcomes for private equity–backed clients. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Senior Data / Solution Architect to own end-to-end data and AI solution design across modern cloud data platforms. This role sits at the intersection of data architecture, data engineering, and AI enablement. You will design enterprise-grade data architectures that support analytics, operational reporting, and AI-driven use cases — balancing near-term delivery needs with long-term platform evolution. The role requires strong consulting experience, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to translate business objectives into clear, executable technical designs. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own end-to-end data and AI solution architecture across modern cloud data platforms - Design and implement enterprise data architectures across SOO → SOR → CDM (Curated) layers - Lead core Data Architecture disciplines, including: - conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling; MDM and reference data; metadata, lineage, and governance - Design and build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines using lakehouse and warehouse patterns - Enable and support AI / ML use cases on data platforms, including feature engineering, model integration, orchestration, and monitoring - Provide architectural leadership on production-grade systems, covering CI/CD, security, performance, and observability - Partner with engineers, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to align on architectural tradeoffs and delivery decisions - Act as a proactive thought partner, identifying opportunities for simplification, acceleration, and AI-driven value creation WHO YOU ARE - 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering roles - Strong consulting background with experience delivering complex, client-facing initiatives - Deep hands-on expertise in SQL and Python - Proven experience designing and delivering data pipelines and orchestration (Airflow, ADF, dbt) - Experience with distributed data processing (Spark) - Strong track record designing SOO / SOR / CDM architectures and dimensional data models - Solid understanding of lakehouse and data warehouse patterns - Cloud implementation experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP (at least one at production scale) - Practical experience delivering AI-enabled solutions to production, not just experimentation - Comfortable operating across multiple workstreams in fast-moving, ambiguous environments - Clear communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - Strong ownership mindset with a bias toward execution NICE TO HAVE - Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, or BigQuery - Exposure to MLOps and model deployment (Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow) - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Experience working in regulated or transformation-heavy environments - Experience supporting private equity–backed businesses OUR VALUES - Client First — We focus relentlessly on delivering outcomes that create value for our clients - We, Not Me — We win together; collaboration drives transformation at scale - Get Stuff Done — We execute with speed and precision — because in PE, time matters - AI First — We embed AI at the core to enable scalable, high-leverage solutions - Own It — We take accountability for results and deliver on what we promise - Agile Mindset — We adapt quickly and continuously seek better ways to move forward WHAT WE OFFER - High-impact role on enterprise-scale data and AI transformation programs - Opportunity to design modern, AI-enabled data platforms for PE-backed clients - Exposure to top-tier private equity and global enterprise environments - Collaboration with senior engineers and architects across geographies - Flexible, remote-first working model with strong autonomy
