About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Payments to join tem, a company rebuilding the energy transaction to make it transparent and fair. This role involves scaling customer payments globally and addressing complex fintech problems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own tem’s global payments strategy end-to-end
- →Deliver payment systems that scale internationally
- →Solve complex fintech problems in payment flows, fraud, and risk
- →Set clear product narratives and decision-quality standards
- →Apply AI to routing, optimisation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection
- →Orchestrate across Engineering, Design, Data, Ops, Finance, Legal, and GTM
- →Make risk visible and explicit
Requirements
- ✓Deep FinTech product experience, specifically in payments, billing, or financial infrastructure
- ✓Proven experience scaling payment systems globally
- ✓Strong intuition for failure modes, edge cases, and operational reality
- ✓Comfortable working with regulation, compliance, finance, and risk partners
- ✓Experience shipping AI-enabled fintech systems into production
- ✓Clear, structured communicator, especially in writing
- ✓Operates with director-level judgement without needing a management title
