About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Solutions Architect to join Temporal's Growth team. This role serves as the primary customer-facing technical leader, focusing on the Western region. You'll work directly with prospects and customers to guide them in understanding how Temporal's platform can meet their application needs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal's platform well
- →Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal's platform
- →Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies
- →Foster adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments
- →Partner with Account Executives to develop account plans
- →Manage relationships with technical decision-makers
- →Travel 25% plus
Requirements
- ✓High preference for residing within the San Francisco Bay Area
- ✓Exceptional technical communication skills
- ✓Deep understanding of distributed system technologies
- ✓Proficiency in building application prototypes using Temporal's supported languages
- ✓Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments
- ✓Ability to provide architectural advice
- ✓Experience with at least one major cloud provider
- ✓Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives
