About the Role
We are looking for a Core Infrastructure Architect to join Numinous, a company building the world's most advanced super-forecasting AI agents. This role involves architecting and building the core infrastructure that allows autonomous AI agents to ingest data, reason, compete, and forecast.
Key Responsibilities
- →Unify different parts of the stack, including network, signal layers, and forecasting architectures
- →Design and build the agent orchestration pipeline for AI forecasters
- →Build and optimize the signal pipeline that feeds real-world data into forecasting models
- →Experiment with different forecasting architectures to find optimal approaches
- →Write production-grade Python that handles complexity at scale
- →Contribute to technical strategy alongside founders
- →Evaluate and vet technical candidates as the engineering team grows
Requirements
- ✓5+ years building production-grade Python backends
- ✓Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph
- ✓Experience with Dagster or equivalent pipeline orchestration
- ✓Strong backend fundamentals including API design, async programming, and database modelling
- ✓Experience building systems that work reliably at scale
- ✓5+ years in a backend or full-stack engineering role
- ✓Experience working at an early-stage startup or high-growth environment
- ✓Experience building and shipping production systems
- ✓Comfortable being the most senior engineer in the room
