About the Role
The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Core team. This role focuses on developing core back-end services and APIs that power the wedding planning journey for millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop TKWW’s core back-end services to improve performance, standardization, and security
- →Produce well-tested, maintainable, and efficient code for highly available and performant systems
- →Advocate for quality and explore new technology ideas
- →Collaborate in an Agile development process to create new products and features
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer building back-end services and APIs
- ✓3+ years working with JavaScript/TypeScript in back-end services
- ✓Experience with APIs in a modern stack (Node, NestJS, Postgres)
- ✓Experience with GraphQL Federation, Backend-for-frontend patterns, and AI tooling
- ✓Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containers (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- ✓Experience with back-end testing frameworks and AI-assisted testing
- ✓Experience working with Jira and Git
- ✓Comfort working in an agile process
- ✓Ability to explain problems to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
