About the Role
We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on accurate billing and invoicing for significant and complex transactions in US Dollars and foreign currencies for global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Prepare and distribute customer invoices daily with timely and accurate information
- →Utilize AvaIara sales tax software to ensure accurate sales tax assessment
- →Interact with sales and operations teams to ensure accuracy of customer correspondence
- →Maintain database of tax-exempt customers
- →Partner with accounting team to improve processes and controls
- →Respond to requests from external auditors
- →Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies across teams
- →Assist team members with special projects as needed
- →Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers
Requirements
- ✓Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
- ✓Good experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- ✓Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with desire to learn processes from beginning to end
- ✓Knowledge and experience with financial reporting systems, preferably Salesforce
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in hands-on capacity
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules
- ✓Proactively and effectively communicate status and challenges encountered
- ✓At least 4-5 years of work experience in Billing process in MNC environment
