About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee assigned technical projects and ensure successful delivery. This role involves managing project segments, coordinating teams, and serving as the primary point of control for aggregate project efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- →Guide project teams and client organizations on Agile/Scrum practices and values
- →Assess Scrum maturity and coach teams to higher levels
- →Remove impediments and build a trusting problem-solving environment
- →Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution
- →Support internal and external communication and transparency
- →Assist Product Sponsors with product backlog grooming and maintenance
- →Analyze resource utilization and measure for future allocation needs
- →Establish and track additional services revenue opportunities
- →Understand client needs and match them to relevant services or products
- →Plan and coordinate all aspects of technical projects from initiation to delivery
- →Develop, define, and execute project plans, scope, schedules, and budgets
- →Identify and assign project resources and roles
- →Coordinate activities among team members, departments, and vendors
- →Manage project risks, issues, and progress to meet goals
- →Conduct project closure activities and post-implementation reviews
- →Identify and implement project management process improvements
- →Utilize systems like Salesforce and Financial Force to maintain project information
Requirements
- ✓PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
- ✓Strong ability to independently manage medium to high risk, high complexity projects
- ✓Knowledge of project management standards using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- ✓Knowledge of industry best practices (e.g., PMBOK)
- ✓Knowledge of company products and services
- ✓Solid understanding of IT project methodologies and life cycles
- ✓Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict, and time management skills
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Advanced skills in project management software
- ✓Ability to manage project budgets and timelines
- ✓Adept at negotiation techniques for differing viewpoints
- ✓Ability to facilitate interaction with executive level clients
- ✓Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance, and build morale
- ✓Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive assignments
