About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Director, Motion to join our team in Vancouver. This role involves leading a team of motion designers to create visually stunning 2D and 3D motion graphics and animation for high-impact marketing campaigns, while collaborating with clients and ensuring creative alignment with project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and inspire a team of motion designers with strong creative direction
- →Develop clear storyboards and polished styleframes for campaign narratives
- →Oversee creation of campaign assets including 2D and 3D animation
- →Provide actionable feedback to team members to maintain high-quality work
- →Engage directly with clients to interpret needs and provide creative insights
- →Collaborate on adopting new processes and workflows for marketing campaigns
- →Contribute to project budgeting and resource planning for efficiency
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in motion design with 3+ years in leadership or senior capacity
- ✓Strong proficiency in Cinema 4D and Redshift
- ✓Mastery of Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- ✓Demonstrated ability to create storyboards and styleframes aligning with campaign goals
- ✓Strong design sensibilities merging aesthetic and technical skills
- ✓Working knowledge of XParticles, Marvelous Designer, and/or Houdini is a plus
- ✓Working knowledge of Figma
- ✓Strong organizational skills with solution-oriented approach
- ✓Portfolio showcasing refined motion design in 2D and 3D across varied marketing styles
