About the Role
We are looking for an entry-level Software Developer to join our team at Thoughtworks. This role involves collaborating with various professionals to design software solutions that create significant change for clients. The position is exclusive to women and underrepresented gender minorities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Learn and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns
- →Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value to end customers

- →Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes

Requirements
- ✓Experience with Java (Spring Boot) + React
- ✓Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, database fundamentals)
- ✓Advanced English level
- ✓Less than 2 years of professional experience working as a developer
- ✓Initial knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
- ✓Ability to write readable, maintainable, and extensible code
- ✓Awareness of the technical ecosystem where code and artifacts run
- ✓Good to have: exposure to machine learning, LLM fundamentals, agentic AI development, and AI-assisted software tools
- ✓Good to have: exposure to cloud-based concepts
- ✓Professional skills: thrive in a collaborative environment, passion for learning, resilience in ambiguous situations
