About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Developer to join our team at Thoughtworks. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring successful delivery of projects. You will bring a strategic mindset to projects and collaborate with clients to bring technical visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- →Champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
- →Oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to evolution in production.
- →Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value to end customers.
- →Design solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while working within constraints.
- →Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes.
- →Apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems.
- →Efficiently utilize and champion DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software.
- →Cultivate Thoughtworker growth and development by encouraging feedback and fostering an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- ✓Well-versed in Node.Js, Nest.Js, Kafka, GraphQL, and comfortable with the latest Object-Oriented technology.
- ✓Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous.
- ✓Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
- ✓Proficient in English.
- ✓Experience influencing others and advocating for technical excellence.
- ✓Ability to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business value.
- ✓Mentorship experience for less experienced peers.
- ✓Resilience in ambiguous situations and the ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
