About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join Tideβs Partner Credit Services Team. You will own and be accountable for the quality of delivery across web and mobile applications, embedding a Shift Left and automation-first mindset across engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using JavaScript (Cypress) for web and Flutter (Patrol) for mobile applications
- βOwn and maintain a centralized end-to-end (E2E) test suite covering shared functionality such as authentication and authorization
- βIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery and rapid, reliable releases
- βPerform initial debugging and root-cause analysis of defects, test failures, and production issues
- βCollaborate closely with frontend, backend engineers, and product managers to design and build testable, high-quality features
- βReview and provide feedback on product requirements to ensure clarity, testability, and quality coverage
- βEstablish and track KPIs for test automation effectiveness and coverage across product engineering teams
Requirements
- βAt least 4-5 years of experience ensuring quality in modern web, mobile and API-based applications using test automation
- βStrong automated UI testing experience using Typescript or JavaScript, ideally using Cypress and Flutter using Patrol for both web and mobile applications
- βExperience with mobile app stores and a fully automated submissions process
- βHands-on experience with GitHub or another CI/CD tool
- βExperience integrating testing into various stages of CI/CD pipelines
- βTest cases, SQL, and excellent problem-solving skills
