About the Role
We are looking for an SMB Territory Sales Account Executive to join our team at Toast. This role involves transforming the way restaurants operate by using a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs in your local area.
Key Responsibilities
- βGenerate list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
- βConduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospectβs needs
- βPartner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
- βLeverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
- βUnderstand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Toast in the market
Requirements
- β1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a relatable field and industry
- βReliable transportation (will reimburse for mileage)
- βStrong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
- βProven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals
- βAbility to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and team environment
- βSelf-motivated, creative, and flexible
- βGeneral technical proficiency with software
