About the Role
We are looking for an Integration Engineer to design, configure, and operate the integration layer that powers People Products at scale. This role is responsible for how data, events, and cases flow across our People & Places technology ecosystem, ensuring reliability, security, and operational efficiency across high-volume, business-critical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and own the end-to-end integration architecture across People Products platforms, supporting 10K+ employees and high-volume transactional workloads.
- →Build API-driven and event-driven integrations that move employee, case, and workflow data across systems with minimal coupling.
- →Implement asynchronous workflow orchestration using queues and events rather than synchronous chaining.
- →Build integrations to production reliability standards, including structured logging, metrics, and alerting.
- →Implement secure integration patterns using OAuth 2.0, secret management, and TLS encryption.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- ✓10+ years of experience in integration engineering, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
- ✓Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, Workday Studio, and message queues or streaming platforms.
- ✓Strong understanding of effective-dated data models, partial failures and retries, and schema evolution.
- ✓Experience integrating HR, case management, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
