The Professional Services Solutions Consultant will be responsible for participating in the selling, documenting, educating and solutioning of professional service offerings and best practices across Total Expert’s prospective and current customers based upon in-depth system knowledge and experience. You will lead and support projects to create and refine current and future professional services packages and offerings based upon evolving product functionality, customer use cases and company strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert between Total Expert’s product and professional services organizations. The ideal candidate is curious, consultative, well organized, solutions orientated, customer focused and excited about working in a fast-paced environment.
This position is remote for candidates residing outside of Minnesota. For candidates based in Minnesota, the position follows a hybrid schedule with three on-site days per week in our St. Louis Park, MN office.
What you’ll be doing:
· Participate in the sales process for highly qualified sales opportunities to present Professional Services as part of the Total Expert Solution and how it differentiates our product and company in the industry, educating on best practices and help set realistic expectations.
· Act as the liaison across functional business areas to provide support for deals from inception to close and hand-off to implementations, focusing on providing solutions to meet the needs of the prospect/customer that align with Total Experts capabilities and strategic direction.
· Identify and approve professional services associated with pricing proposals and finalize SOWs for both new prospects and existing customers requiring services.
· Develop and maintain relevant materials to leverage in the sales process and that can be used by others in the organization as needed to sell and educate on professional services package offerings.
· Work with existing customers and customer success team members to understand use cases and pain points to actively drive towards and document solutions and services required to address needs. Evaluate, document and triage incoming requests, document and create SOWs for additional services. Where necessary document business requirements for custom work to be completed through both Total Expert, customer and 3rd Party development teams.
· Utilize insights from each customer engagement to help improve our professional services processes, best practices and offerings and help shape strategic direction to consistently offer and deliver best in class service.
· Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing all of Professional Services collaborating with product and other Go To Market team members to influence and drive towards new product innovation. Participate in release readiness activities including roadmap planning sessions, Sprint reviews and UAT testing providing influence and advocate for services team and customer use cases. Continue to keep current on product, upcoming roadmap items, on-going releases and implementation best practices.
· Participate on internal teams and serve as liaison between product and services documenting updates, risks, concerns and proactively outlining adjustments required to implementation process.
· Support and drive continued improvements to the Sales and SOW process.
What we are looking for:
· 5+ years of proven leadership experience in customer SaaS implementations or professional services
· 5+ years of relevant experience in project management (preferably in B-B-C SaaS software implementations).
· 3+ years of experience working through data transfers and/or integrations connecting third party systems (understanding API methodology preferred)
· Passionate about building great products, innovation and solving complex customer problems.
· High energy, flexibility, and “Can do” and “Positive” attitude in approaching challenges in a fast, constantly changing environment.
· Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Proven ability to collaborate, establish trust and credibility with users at all levels including C-level, both within Total Expert and prospect/customer organizations.
· Excellent oral, written communications, and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical information.
· Strong customer relationship management skills – customer centric mindset.
· Strong decision-making capability. Can digest complex information to understand core issues and the develop proposed solutions that align with Total Expert and customer interests.
· Proven ability to independently and successfully apply process improvement methods with measurable business performance improvement outcomes.
· Professional experience to collaborate with sales, product, engineering and professional services to provide support, cohesiveness and ensure that both the customer and professional services are set-up for success.
· Experience successfully prioritizing customer deliverables, timelines and determining risk and/or impact.
· Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and complete tasks on time within an extremely fast pace environment.
· Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Outlook.
· Willingness to travel, up to 10%
Compensation/Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 annually. Final total compensation offered is dependent upon the selected individual's qualifications and experience. The role is also eligible for variable compensation.
