Position: Salesforce Systems Administrator
Location: USA, East Coast preferred - remoteÂ
Position Type: Full-time
Position Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Systems Administrator with a strong Salesforce Admin background to own and manage our entire Go-to-Market (GTM) technology stack. This is a sole contributor role, meaning you will be the primary and only GTM systems resource, responsible for Salesforce administration, system integrations, process automation, and overall tech stack optimization.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient problem solver with experience in Salesforce customization, GTM tool integrations, and workflow automation. You will need to be comfortable working independently while collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to support business needs and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilites
• Salesforce Administration & Optimization
• Serve as the sole Salesforce administrator, managing user access, profiles, roles, security settings, and permissions.
• Configure and optimize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and automation to support GTM teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce performance issues, data inconsistencies, and system errors without reliance on external resources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting models for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
• Continuously assess CRM efficiency and propose enhancements to improve sales productivity and data accuracy.
• GTM Tech Stack Administration & Integrations
• Independently manage and maintain integrations between Salesforce and GTM tools such as Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, DealHub, and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot).
• Own API connections, data syncs, and automation workflows (Workato), ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
• Evaluate, implement, and manage new tools and technologies to enhance sales, marketing, and customer success operations.
• Serve as the primary troubleshooter and point of contact for system issues, with minimal reliance on external consultants.
• Process Automation & Operational Efficiency
• Identify manual, time-consuming processes within the sales cycle and implement automated workflows in Salesforce and GTM tools.
• Support and enhance Lead-to-Cash, Quote-to-Cash (QTC), and territory management processes within Salesforce.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy, implementing data validation, deduplication, and enrichment strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, RevOps, and Finance, acting as the sole systems resource for all GTM technology needs.
• Provide training, documentation, and enablement support for sales reps, SDRs, and CSMs using Salesforce and other tools.
• Collaborate with RevOps and Finance teams to ensure contract management, data privacy, and revenue policies align with system configurations.
• Act as the liaison between GTM teams and external vendors when additional support or tool enhancements are needed.
• AI & Intelligent Automation (Salesforce + GTM Stack)
• Design and implement AI-driven workflows within Salesforce, leveraging tools such as Salesforce Einstein and Agentforce to improve productivity and decision-making across GTM teams.
• Identify high-impact use cases for AI agents (e.g., lead qualification, next-best-action recommendations, pipeline inspection, and automated follow-ups) and deploy scalable solutions.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise sales environment.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification
• Proven ability to work independently as the sole systems admin, supporting a growing GTM organization without dedicated technical team members.
• Experience integrating and managing GTM tools such as Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, RingLead, DealHub, and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures, sales processes, opportunity management, and forecasting.
• Experience with AI-enabled CRM capabilities, including Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or similar AI/automation tools within a GTM environment.
• Familiarity with prompt design, AI workflow orchestration, or low-code AI tools is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, Validation Rules, and Process Builder for workflow automation.
• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in reporting, dashboards, and data manipulation (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL a plus).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where systems must be continuously optimized.
• Language Skills:
• English fluency required / French fluency is a plus.
Success Metrics
• Systems people trust and actually use
• Salesforce and the GTM stack are clean, intuitive, and secure — with strong user management and permissions.
