About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on backend engineer to join Triple Whale, the complete intelligence platform for ecommerce. This role is critical to building and scaling the systems that power our data platform, integrating new providers, strengthening data pipelines, and ensuring data accuracy at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain server-side systems at scale
- →Integrate data from external platforms and providers into the Triple Whale data warehouse
- →Design, build, and operate data pipelines
- →Own and maintain integrations with external data providers
- →Work on systems that handle real-world infrastructure challenges
- →Process and transform data using analytics- and matrix-oriented data structures
- →Monitor, investigate, and resolve data mismatches
- →Define and evolve database schemas
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience as a successful, independent software engineer (3+ years)
- ✓Ability to work from our Jerusalem office 2 times a week (Monday & Wednesday)
- ✓Hands-on experience with core backend and platform concepts
- ✓Strong backend mindset with an understanding of production-grade systems
- ✓Strong understanding of relational databases
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓English fluency (spoken and written)
- ✓Builder mentality: hands-on position involving writing code and deploying to production
